learn about the basics OF ASTRONOMY

An appreciation for the skies over Verrado® can only be experienced by selecting an observing instrument which works for you.  It can be as simple as a basic beginner telescope or it can be something you want to use into the future.  If you have an interest in photography, for example, you may want a telescope that can be used for viewing and for photography.  If you enjoy watching animals or checking out the landscape, you might want a scope that can be used for both astronomical as well as terrestrial purposes.  In our first meeting in April 2013, we reviewed the various types of telescopes and the selection criteria.  If you have an interest in receiving a color copy of a booklet we put together with the help of Starizona in Tucson titled "Telescope Basics", please click on the "Contact" tab above and provide us with your message and we'll get one to you.  You can also click the blue button below.

If you have the mildest interest in learning about the solar system, universe , or gaining a deeper understanding about the science of astronomy, you may want to join our organization.  We're a Verrado based club,  in the city of Buckeye, Arizona  supported by the Community's Developer  (DMB®).  It cost absolutely nothing to join.   If you feel like you may want to join us at one of our meetings to see what we might be about, please drop us a note by clicking on the "Contact" tab above and leave us a message so we can contact you when we have our next meeting scheduled.  You can also feel free to click on the "About" tab above to find out more about our club.  .
